Auction checklist

Before creating your auction, we recommend gathering the following details

  • Setup your payment method and link it to your Indy account
  • Craft a compelling auction title
  • Write a concise, informative auction description
  • Set the auction start and end dates and times
  • Prepare your logo
  • Select a header image (See: Image guide)
  • Curate lot images (up to 5 per lot, each under 5MB)
  • Determine lot order - It is key for you to decide a final lot order before uploading
  • Compose consistent lot descriptions (See: How to write your lot description
    • Utilise 'Title 1' and 'Title 2' effectively
    • Create engaging descriptions using the free text editor
  • Establish starting prices (See: Estimates, reserves and pricing)
  • Consider including estimates 
  • Choose 'Starter' or 'Pro' tier and consider adding a buyer's fee
  • Review the T&Cs template and have it ready to add to your auction
  • Begin populating the bulk upload spreadsheet
