Auction checklist
Before creating your auction, we recommend gathering the following details
- Setup your payment method and link it to your Indy account
- Craft a compelling auction title
- Write a concise, informative auction description
- Set the auction start and end dates and times
- Prepare your logo
- Select a header image (See: Image guide)
- Curate lot images (up to 5 per lot, each under 5MB)
- Determine lot order - It is key for you to decide a final lot order before uploading
- Compose consistent lot descriptions (See: How to write your lot description)
- Utilise 'Title 1' and 'Title 2' effectively
- Create engaging descriptions using the free text editor
- Establish starting prices (See: Estimates, reserves and pricing)
- Consider including estimates
- Choose 'Starter' or 'Pro' tier and consider adding a buyer's fee
- Review the T&Cs template and have it ready to add to your auction
- Begin populating the bulk upload spreadsheet
