Auction checklist
Before creating your auction, we recommend gathering the following details
- Setup your payment method and link it to your indy account.
- Craft a compelling auction title.
- Write a concise, informative auction description.
- Set the auction start and end dates and times. See: When is the best day and time to close a timed auction?
- Prepare your logo
- Select a header image, see: Image dimensions and guidance.
- Curate lot images (up to 5 per lot, each under 5MB)
- Determine lot order - It is key for you to decide a final lot order before uploading.
- Compose consistent lot descriptions, see: How do I write a lot description?
- Utilise 'Title 1' and 'Title 2' effectively
- Create engaging descriptions using the free text editor
- Establish starting prices, see: Estimates and starting prices for online auctions
- Consider including estimates
- Choose 'Starter' or 'Pro' tier and consider adding a buyer's fee.
- Review your T&Cs template and have it ready to add to your auction.
