My Stripe account has a restricted status. What do I do?

  1. Log in to your Stripe dashboard
    Go to your Stripe account and sign in to the dashboard.
  2. Check for a red banner at the top
    If your account needs additional verification, a red banner will appear with details.
  3. Click on “Review details”
    This will show you exactly what information or documents are still required.
  4. Upload the requested documents
    Submit the necessary items—this might include ID, business documents, or proof of address.
  5. Wait for Stripe to review your submission
    Verification usually takes 3–5 business days. Stripe will update you by email if they need anything else.
  6. Monitor your dashboard and email
    Stripe may contact you for additional information—such as a description of your products or services—depending on your business type and location.
  7. Once the red banner is gone
    That means your account is fully verified—no further action is needed.
