Indy.auction offers three auction ending options, providing flexibility and control over bidding extensions.
1. All Lots Extension
In this option, all lots close simultaneously. If a bid is placed in the last minute, the auction extends by a set time for all lots, allowing bidders to respond.
Example: If a two-minute extension is set and a bid is placed at 3:59 pm, the auction extends to 4:02 pm. The process continues until no bids are placed in the final minute.
2. Cascade Extension
Lots close sequentially in this format, with each lot starting to close after the previous one. You can set the interval between closings. If a bid is placed in the last minute of any lot, that lot and all subsequent lots are extended by the specified time.
Example: If there's a two-minute interval and a five-minute extension is set, Lot 1 closes at 4:00 pm, Lot 2 at 4:02 pm, etc. If a bid is placed on Lot 2 at 4:01 pm, it extends to 4:07 pm, and the following lots close at adjusted times.
3. Individual Lots Extension
Each lot has an independent closing time, unaffected by other lots. If a bid is placed in the final minute, only that lot extends by the specified time.
Example: With a two-minute interval and a five-minute extension, Lot 1 closes at 4:00 pm, Lot 2 at 4:02 pm, and so forth. If a bid on Lot 3 is made at 4:03 pm, it extends to 4:09 pm, while Lot 4's time remains unchanged unless another bid is placed.
