Ok great, so your auction is coming to an end. Remember there is still time to keep promoting it and get in those final bids.
Still it is worth thinking about what happens once the auction ends. Preparing for this now can make sure your bidders have a really smooth and professional experience.
So these are the things we recommend:
- Prepare your post-auction comms - this includes a ‘thank you’ email to all the bidders involved. Make sure this includes a call to action.
For example: asking them to subscribe to your newsletter or follow your social media accounts for your next auction.
Don’t forget to also prep a thank you message to any donors or partners that have been involved. You could share engagement stats, and if it is a charity auction, share the impact their contribution made to the cause. - Prepare the post-auction logistics- Prioritise the lots that you know are guaranteed to sell. For physical items start preparing the shipping coordination, and for experiences the fulfilment of that experience.
In the meantime, best of luck with the final bids.
