Why can't I create a lot?

Template selection, incomplete auction details, or auction status restrictions typically cause the "Create lot" button to be greyed out or unavailable in your dashboard. 

1. You selected an auction using the Single-lot template

Indy.auction offers auction templates tailored to different auction types. If you select a single-lot template when setting up your auction, the platform limits the catalogue to one item.

• Create a new auction using either the Standalone or Classic timed auction template if you need to add multiple lots.

2. Your auction setup details are incomplete

The platform requires basic auction setup details before allowing you to add lots to your catalogue.

• Open the "Auctions" tab and select your draft.
• Fill in all required fields, including the auction title, start date, end date, and payment connection.
• Save your changes and return to the "Lots" tab.

3. Your lot is missing details 

Indy.auction needs the key details about your lots to create them. Required lot information includes:

• At least one image.
• A title.
• A description.
• A starting price.
