What are the Stripe and Paypal processing fees?

Payment processing fees are charged directly by payment gateways to manage secure transactions. Indy.auction integrates with both Stripe and PayPal, allowing you to connect your accounts smoothly.

The transaction fees depend entirely on the provider you use, the card type, and the location of your bidders. 

Stripe processing fees

Stripe charges a percentage of the total transaction plus a fixed fee per invoice.

  • Domestic cards: Transactions using cards from your local region generally incur the lowest standard rate.
  • International cards: Higher rates apply for cross-border transactions or premium cards, such as American Express.

PayPal processing fees

PayPal operates on a similar structure, applying a percentage rate and a fixed fee based on the currency you receive.

  • Standard domestic payments: A standard rate applies to payments made within your home country.
