How do I create my event displays?

This article explains how to enable and customise your event displays for your auction.

Step 1. Open your auction settings

Log in to your Indy account and open the Auction Creator for the auction you want to manage.

From the right-hand menu, navigate to: Design → Event Displays

This section allows you to enable and manage both available event display types: Leader-board and Carousel displays.

Step 2. Enable your event displays

Toggle on the event displays you would like to use for your event.

You can enable:

Leader-board display

Best suited for larger auctions.

  • Uses an infinite scrolling layout

  • Ideal when many lots are active or bidding is fast-paced

  • Allows guests to easily follow bidding activity across multiple lots

Carousel display

Best suited for smaller auctions.

  • Features larger lot images

  • Displays fewer lots at a time for greater visual impact

Step 3. Customise your displays

Once enabled, select Edit to customise each display.

You can customise:

Backgrounds and colours
  • Upload a background image in JPEG or PNG format

  • Or choose a solid background colour

  • Displays are optimised for a resolution of 1920 × 1080 (Full HD)

Logos

You can upload up to two logos:

  • One logo displayed on the left

  • One logo displayed on the right

Display content

Both display types automatically show:

  • Lot title

  • Lot image

  • Starting bid or current bid

  • Paddle number (when a bid has been placed)

Step 4. Save your displays

Once you have finished customising your displays, select Save on both display types.

After saving, your event display links will automatically appear on the Auction Overview only once your auction is published. 

From there, you can open the displays directly on your event screens.
