Do I need to create a PayPal account to pay for a lot?

Indy.auction offers different options to pay for lots you have won. You don’t need to have a PayPal account, instead you can pay securely through PayPal with your bank details without making an account. 

• With a PayPal account: Log in to an existing PayPal account to complete your transaction.
• Without PayPal: Pay directly using a debit or credit card without creating an account.

How to pay without a PayPal account

Once in the checkout, you can choose to either pay with a card payment via the platform or you can pay with your card details through PayPal without making an account. 

• Card payment: select card payment from the payment options and complete the payment process. For more details on the checkout process, use please see our guide on what bidders see when paying. 

• Via PayPal: select PayPal from the payment options, which will take you to the PayPal portal. 

• Enter your email address and select continue to payment.

 

• Fill in the entry fields with your details, then scroll to the bottom of the page and make sure to turn off the 'create your PayPal account' toggle. 
• Finally select Pay Now to complete your payment.
