Can you add lots after an auction starts?

Yes, you can add new lots to your auction when the auction is published, even when actively accepting bids.

Adding a lot during a published auction allows you to respond to last-minute consignments or include extra items without interrupting the bidding process. The new lot will appear on your public auction page immediately after you save it.

How to add a lot to a published auction

  1. Log in to your Indy.auction seller account.
  2. Select the published auction you want to update.
  3. Navigate to the Lots tab and select the Create lot button.
  4. Enter the lot details and images.
  5. Save the lot to publish it instantly.

Deleting lots from an auction when it's open for bidding

While the platform gives you the flexibility to add new lots, you cannot delete a lot once an auction has started. This restriction protects the integrity of the bidding process and ensures a fair transparent experience for all registered bidders.

If you need to withdraw an item after the auction has started, you can edit the lot details to mark it as withdrawn.
